The frustrated 'pede.

We replaced her cage lid with a sliding acrylic lid that we made.

I'm already liking how it lets the cage retain heat and humidity better, as does ZZ, considering that she's been out and exploring/digging new tunnels for the past 4 hours.

She is, however, very frustrated about not being able to climb upside own on the top anymore. She still tries occasionally, but since the initial, "WHAT?!" moment there haven't been any serious attempts to try to get to the top.

The holes on the sliding part are close enough to the center that she can't grab the aquarium 'glue' at the edges and reach them.

Heh, and now I don't have to have this thought of, "Oh...nonononono what if she chews through the screen and gets out?!" nagging at the back of my mind.
