Lastly this is not a genus/species most hobbyist care to see moving uncontrolled across our country.
One mishap could spell disaster.

Before I hear they couldn't survive here, they have been found in refrigerated cargo holds alive.

It happens. Phoneutria (Greek for "Murderess) is the infamous BWS.
Yes, I think someone told me it was decided this was a boliviensis.

Absolutely fascinating genus. I've briefly kept a few specimens in the past, and they are certainly interesting.
