To be honest the sounds may well be different but seeing as i've never actually tried comparing them then it all just sounds the same to me.

the equipment used was nothing hi tec just this camera pointed down the eye piece of this microscope.

I know this sounds a little far out in right field but I really wonder how much of a difference there is in the sound from species to species.
It also makes wonder if they could identify a like species or ward each other off through (sound) vibrations.
Must be the Nyquil.

They are just pics of hairs or spines on the outside surface of the chelicerae and on the inside surface of the palpal coxa (except the apophysis pics which are of the hairs found on the outside of the palpal coxa and the inside of the coxa of leg 1) that the spiders rub together to produce a hissing noise.
